  • The Massif du Sud Tourist Resort, located in Bellechasse, will benefit from an $85 million investment by Contraste Immobilier by 2030. This project, a true passion project for the developer, aims to offer a year-round experience in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature and other regional attractions.

    Thanks to its privileged microclimate, Saint-Philémon is renowned for its exceptional skiing conditions, free of ice, earning it the top spot among Quebec's ski resorts. Altitude, abundant winter precipitation, slope orientation, distance from the river, and the richness of the forests all contribute to this reputation.

    One of the project's highlights is the construction of a condo-hotel, also offering the necessary infrastructure for both winter and summer activities. Currently, 200 chalets are available, with 400 more planned.

    The opening of the condo-hotel will allow the resort to operate seven days a week while preserving the quality of the slopes. The addition of 120 acres of off-piste skiing and easy-intermediate level trails will meet the needs of all skiers, including families. The project also aims to develop summer activities such as hiking and mountain biking to offer a four-season experience.

    As a neighbor to the Massif du Sud Regional Park, MDS will contribute to the promotion of this beautiful region by providing accommodation capacity for visitors throughout the year.
